  • Non UtSTSA Member that teaches 3-4th Grade
  • Non UtSTA Members that teach 5-6th grade. $35 Become a member and save!
  • For nom members that teach K-2nd grade. $35.00 To save $15.00 become a member.

  • Two-day professional development for elementary teachers

  • Three strands: K-2, 3-4, 5-6

  • With newer science standards, what shifts to instruction are expected? Come spend Friday afternoon and Saturday exploring how to implement the Science with Engineering Education (SEEd) Standards into instruction. In these sessions, you will investigate expectations of the SEEd standards, experience model lessons for your grade, identify shifts to instruction, discuss how to integrate literacy and science, and receive materials to help you teach science more effectively this year!

Time: Friday: 4:30-7:00 pm & Saturday: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

Cost for Participant:  Members $20  & Non-members $35

Location: South Hills Middle School 13508 S 4000 W, Riverton, UT 84065

Upon successful completion, the participants will receive 8.5 reliscensure points on their MIDAS account.

By registering and paying, you agree that if you are not able to attend you will cancel at least 2 weeks before the class starts or your registration fees will be forfeited.
