  • This registration will pay for course registration fees for one person for the week of Chemistry 2 at UtSTA member rate and 3 semester of UVU Credit.

    Reimbursement of the $500 comes through your LEA so make sure you know their process.
  • YOU CAN JOIN UtSTA TODAY AND SAVE $250 ON THIS REGISTRATION.
    This registration will pay for course registration fees for one person for the week of Chemistry 1 at non-USTA member rate.

Summer Endorsement/Professional Development Series. Hosted by Utah Science Teachers Association and Utah Valley University.

Chemistry 1

Description: The course will focus on learning and teaching chemistry.  This week-long chemistry course will include inquiry style learning with methods to reach and engage students in the study of chemistry.  Taught at Westlake High School.  Don Bastian a master chemistry teacher leads this course.  Come away with knew content knowledge, labs completed and with pedagogical skills to use when teaching chemistry.

  • 3 semester hours of UVU Credits is included.
  • Lunch is provided each day.

Registration Costs are to cover the course instructor, meeting location(s), supplies, college credit recording fees, and meals (lunch for each full day).  NOTE: If you are not a current member of UtSTA you can renew your membership or join the Utah Science Teachers Association today ($10-15/year) and save $250 on your registration costs.  To join today, CLICK HERE.
