USTA has divided Utah into seven regions.  Each region has an elected regional representative assigned to each region. Quarterly, we will be sending you a newsletter unique to your region with teacher spotlights, news, upcoming activities, etc.

 Maggie works at Sand Ridge Jr High in Roy (Weber School District).  She currently teaches 7th Grade Integrated Science and has been a teacher for 14 years.

Region Two-Davis, Salt Lake, Tooele
Richard LaSueur  works at Clark N. Johnsen Jr. High  in Tooele (To0ele School District). He currently teaches 7th Grade Integrated Science and has been a teacher for 10 years.

Ashley Russon works as the Alpine School District Science Specialist. This is her 4th year as the specialist.  Previous to that she taught 3 years at Orem Jr High.

Gayle Dowdle works at Fort Herriman Middle School in Herriman (Jordan District). She currently teaches 
8th Grade science.  She has been teaching for 12 years.

Contact imageLars Johnson works at Gunnison Valley High in Gunnison (South Sanpete District). He teaches Chemistry, Physics, Material Science and Concurrent enrollment classes for both Chemistry and Physics through Snow College.  He has been a teacher for 29 years.

Region Seven-Beaver, Garfield, Iron, Kane, Millard, Washington 
Blake Clark is currently the Reading Specialist and Science Coordinator at Three Peaks Elementary in Cedar City (Iron County District). He previously taught 4th grade for three years.
