Utah Science Teachers Association

About USTA

The Utah Science Teachers Association is a group of educators with members ranging from elementary teachers, middle school teachers, and high school teachers to university professors and members of the science industry.  We have the main goal of bettering science education in the State of Utah.  We regularly provide information, support, hands-on events, professional development, and more to Utah science teachers and their students.  Once a year, in early February, we hold a conference for all K-12 teachers that provide them training and lessons plans bettering their teaching curriculum and general teaching ideas from technology and management to science fair and safety.  Also, throughout the year we offer many weekend opportunities for teachers and their families to participate in several science activities all over the State (hiking, bat collecting, star gazing, brine shrimp collecting, and museum access have been a few activities in the past).

We hope that all science teachers in Utah will join, participate, and serve with us as we work to help all the students in Utah learn, live, and love science.
